thip trip has already been weird, we get pulled over on hwy 69 by the sheriff and he walks up and ask to see my DL only, as he walks back i ask if need need my insurance card, he says NO. hmmmm me and cragio look at each other like wtf. he then comes back as asks me where i bought my trailer and john deere gator at, then he writes down there serial numbers and runs them, now we are wondering whats going on its been nearly 20 minutes. he finally walks back hands me my DL and says have a good night, we have had 480 gators stolen here and im stoppin everyone i see, have a nice night. im glad he is looking out for those JD gators those things are as much as a small car.

I talked to a guy who bow fishes (yea, I know it sucks but who am I to argue with him) anyway he told me some of his best spots for carp on Lone Star Lake (a 60 yr old impoundment of 2000 acres)...when it cools off a little (or I become less lazy) I am gonna bait a couple spots & see what happens...he said he has shot several over 20.

While wade fishing in Lone Star Lake one morning a few years ago. Had a huge Carp swim between my legs and almost knocked me down. Shocked me alittle....I will never forget it.

your probley right starless, well so far he has 2 carp one is 15 and the other is 18 a new pb. i have 2 one at 13 and another at 14. and we have had 10 to 14lb channel cats all day and night, even a few turtles.

Hehehe, told you. He's gonna find out why we're not as interested in a lot of the lakes around here when they just spit out a bunch of 6lbers lol.

yeah, we packed up around 9 this morning

caught about 30 good size cats

and i think 7-8 carp

no smaller than 10lbs
