probably caught over a hundred fish today. Everytime I dropped my line in the water it seemed like I was getting a bite.
Started out in 6' water fishing some standing timber caught a few there about 4' down. Fished some poles by lakeview marina and caught a few there. All caught on 1/8 oz pink jighead with lt. blue/white jig.
Then on to the new bridge and I guess all the traffic had the fish hyped up or something cause I couldnt keep my pole in the water more than a few seconds before I had a bite. caught em all about 12-15' deep on the north and middle pylons, the south pylons didnt seem to be holding much and I only fished the west side. about noon I switched to a 1/8 oz chrome jighead with a black/chart jig because the catfish swallowed my last pink one and I couldnt get it back, he put up quite a fight on my ultralight gear.
This is the best day of fishing I've ever had. Too bad every day isnt like this one, wind was out of the southwest and was blowing pretty consistent all morning 8mph or so.
