Launch is no problem, retrieve is a big problem with stiff angle and slick ram, you may have somebody sit in the back or lower the air pressure of the rear tires to get some addition traction.

I used to launch, load, and retrieve a triumph 190 bay cc with a 1997 chevy 1500 v6 single cab short bed 2 wheel drive auto trans pickup without any problems.

Hope this helps.

If you choose the driest ramp and pull slowly forward a 2wd will work just fine.

I have a 22' Nitro Bay2200 center console that I have loaded and unloaded with either my 2 wheel drive GMC Sierra or Ford Expedition, at nearly every ramp in the north texas area. So far, I haven't had any problems. When loading, you shouldn't have to have the back tires in the water. If you do, then something isn't right. Learning the correct depth to submerge a trailer when loading, is the most important thing for an easy load and go.

Has anyone tried using a towel under your spinning rear wheels to aid in getting up a wet ramp? I read where someone else recommended it on this site, but have not heard if it really works. Sounds like it would, if you took it slow, plus it would be easier to carry around then heavy bags of sand or concrete. Any input?

I've yet to be stuck on a ramp but after seeing someone have
problems on the ramp out at lake proctor a few weeks back I
started carrying these grip plates we used to carry on our
dune buggy. They've worked great on sand, snow, and mud and
if I ever have to use them at the ramp I'll make a post about
it.

They're just rectangular metal grills pretty much with 'teeth'
or cleats around the edges on the bottom and the grill is the
X pattern. Just slap one under each drive wheel, tie the drag
ropes to the back of the tow vehicle and take off. The drag
ropes keep you from having to stop right away after getting
un-stuck. Just drive on and drag them to solid ground, hop
out toss them back in the vehicle and take off. Could
probably skip that part on the ramp and just run back down
and get them once you're off the ramp.

You should be fine pulling up to a 19' boat. Stay clear of steep ramps without grooves cut in them. Having quality tires will help out a TON.
