In the many yrs i fish for carp I build a good relation with them
They "know "me because I always obey the rules and keep a very cleen swim because I dont like people pointing fingers to carp anglers because of litter
They also know me because a few yrs back I rescue a 14yr old girl that was swimming in the lake because she was raped and jumped in the lake to escape
They know me because I was fishing with a WULF as a fishing m8 to protect myself from criminals making the lake very unsafe
So I am kind of a legend among the old rangers and police oficers and have no problem with them ( they just think I am a STRANGE guy )

Last week I was fishing for a 7day session when some old ranger came up to my swim and the conversation went a bit like this

Ranger .. hy leo hows fishing ( at that point he was looking at my tackle boxs that was open because I was tying a new rig AND SEE A MOND HARMONICA IN THERE)
Ranger.. are you playing that harmonica well?
ME ... nope I dont play at all
Ranger..Than why do you have a harmonica with you if you cant play?
Me.. because of the goose!
Ranger ..BECAUSE OF THE GOOSE!!!
ME.. yeah in winter thousends of goose land on the water making a lot of noise keeping me up all night and the only way to shut them up is to make some long lower tunes on the harmonica

All the ranger did from there was shaking his head saying good bye and left he did even forget to ask for my fishing lisence!!

So maybe you know by now WHY THEY THINK I AM A STRANGE BLOKE!!

Leo, you are a gem. I can just see you sitting at the lake playing the harmonica for the geese. lol. In Texas we turn geese into a food group..

It looks like that in texas they turn ALL living things into a food source(lol)BUT HOW MUCH CAN YOU EAT!!
I realy like nature and I am a big fan of the out doors
On the river I have some times BIG beavers eating just behind the bivy I LOVE THAT STUFF!!

GG you must agree with me that they kill way to many species of fish just because THEY LIKE TO KILL
And they just try to find reasons to justify their kills!

No doubt there. but most of the time they don't eat them. Whole nother topic that should not be discussed here. lol
