My brother and I just bought a 22' VIP SeaStealth deepvee boat and have been going offshore out of Port Mansfield, TX and South Padre Island, TX. We are both new to this type of fishing and would like to find someone with experience to take along as a mentor and fishing buddy. We were out this past weekend and the water was calm and beautiful, caught a Cobia on light tackle!

I got a buddy who would be the perfect guide for you. He knows all the hot spots. I will check in with him and get back to you!

Don't run that far south often but do know a few good spots. Let me know when you are headin that way and I can try to shake free. Not a guide by any stretch but we catch a ton of fish

I'm heading out tomorrow morning from Port Isabel, we're going to hit the close rigs that are about 13 miles out from the jetties. We saw alot of fish there last time, hopefully they'll be there and be hungry! It'll be my brother, his wife, and myself in the 22' Sea Stealth, possibly with the blue bimini top up.

Just got back from a great fishing trip! We dodged showers all day and didn't get a drop on us until we were heading to the boat launch, which wasn't that bad at all.
