This may be way out there, but just for kicks, I wonder if you could use different colors of Hi-Vis line actually on the jig as the tail or something. Some super light (2 or 4 lb. test) in Hi-Vis green/yellow/blue. Somebody make one and take a pic! LOL grin May give it a real translucent look.

Here you go. Sorry all i had was yellow. The tail is a little to stiff for me to like but i had nothing but time on my hands.

Hey Papermouth, how about you take a dull letter opener and run it accross the strands on the tail to make it flare out some. Might add a little to that jig.
