What is the best way to get started? Ive wanted to start tyin my own for a long time are the kits the way to start or what do I need to get started and where do you get supplies

a kit from bass pro is a great way to get started. It has some good materials and a video that will get you started tying, just be sure its the jig tying kit and not fly tying. thumb

I'd order a catalog from Barlow's too. Check out the materials and whatnot from them after you get some tied. They have a great selection and they are friendly folk.

UTube has many short videos on tying, lots of examples that will help get you started. But beware, it's very addictive!
