I personally like the wild stuff never know what the elusive crappie will hit. Great looking jig, I have seen so much chenile on diffrent jigs that I would like to have just to try, but my house would be full!!!!
Believe me I know what you mean and can you imagine buying 144 yards of a color just to see how it looks to everyone, LOL? Most I buy do well and they catch fish for customers and all is good, but there are some that just don't show up as good in a picture as they do in my hand. So I have a lot of really great looking chenille that doesn't sell, but I know if people would try them they would do well.
This one I have proved to my self that it works and I am happy about that because even if I don't sell any I will still be catching fish with this. I was thinking it may have been too clear and the sun shining that maybe this would not do as well as if it had been cloudy or stained water. However my favorite color in clear water and sun out didn't do as well as this did. So I am thinking it is going to be one of the all occasion type colors. It took me a couple of months to sell myself on buying some of it.
Can't wait until next spring for long line trolling with 1/32 oz Roadrunners in this color. I feel sure It is going to be deadly!
I am also pretty excited after another sales job on my self on my new what I am calling my "Wild Jigs". Again this one took me about 2 months of having the material to figure out how I wanted to use it and now I am very happy with it as well. Maybe the ones that take a bit of time to decide to do them are going to end up being very good after all.
Now I do have some that are a big disappointment too and we will not talk about them nor will I post pictures of it, LOL!
Good Luck to you!
