State Farm in Insurance is the best big insurance company in general to deal with.

My boat has been insured with State Farm for about 6 years now. Can't complain. Everything else is with Allstate. Allstate just can't get me what I want for coverage on the boat for the same price as State Farm, even with me being a multiple policy holder.

You'll have to take 2% deductable on your home owners instead of the standard 1% to get the best quote on your boat insurance. State Farm went to 2% deducatale. I switched, now I'm getting twice the coverage for half the price.

Well I am fixing to find out how good Karen is, I just found out that there was still some water in my lower unit of my new to me 7 day old 250 Merc XS and that my gear case has a huge crack all the way around it and a nice big puddle of gear oil under the skeg. Whats the chance that they can get a new lower unit on there by Friday so I can fish BassChamps at Falconn!!

I will be curious to see what happens with your lower unit, and will be watching this one. In my eyes that situation wasn't from collision, rather from lack of proper care knowing a hard freeze was coming. Ronnie almost has me talked into switching to Karen on my boat.

Karen has recently gotten all my insurance, home, 3 autos, boat, life insurance, she's good people. But this is really a State Farm thing not a Karen thing and in my 15 years with SF with homeowners, boats, cars,trucks, 4wheelers,snowmachines, life insurance, they have never done me wrong! I have great confidence that this will work out just fine.

P.S, Insurance coverage is not solely for collision, theres lots of reasons to have full coverage on just about anything, collision is just one!

I have had Karen for a long long time, and never had a reason to switch. She has done myself, and my mother/stepdad a good job for over 30 years. I dont know why, but she just seems to be a better agent than any other I have met. My wife has SF out of greenville when we met, and I had her switch to Karen and she got better coverage for less money because Karen knew how to write the policy correctly. She also goes to bat for her clients when something happens, and will not leave you hanging without any help or concern. exactly what I have been preaching about. they are the best in my opinion. no bs, no extra calls, no worrying about getting your boat/vehicle taken care of in a timely fashion. just great service all around. 521- check out thier life policies as well. i have them on myself,wife,and son for a damn good price. it's easy of mind knowing that my wife would have no problems collecting the check if i were to expire. (dont tell her though, she may make it happen sooner than later as much as I pick on her) LOL! but seriously, planning for the unthinkable and securing your family's future if something were to happen is a very important thing to consider.

I have seen many an agent's rate vary with the same carrier. It usually boils down to discounts or difference in rating inforamation. I have never figured out what direct carriers like Progressive and Geico do when a client calls to cancel? Sometimes they will try to keep the client by giving them a better price. That usually just makes the client angry.

Some of you might be familiar with my recent dilemna and all I can say is Thank You Karen, she is simply Great! This has made me switching all my insurance needs over to her in the last month or so a very positive experience.

well I highly doubt that Brandon. If that were the case, my wife would have never switched from her SF agent in greenville. She switched before we were married and not living together so there were no special circumstances that made her insurance drop drastically, other than the policy written wrong. So i doubt you would write the same policy as Karen, even if you are a state farm agent trying to get work.

Does that mean one's rates depends on how competent the agent is? How hard is is to write a policy accurately and honestly? I've actually gotten quotes from two different local State Farm agents and they came out identical! They asked detailed questions to apply all the correct ratings and discounts I qualify for. That's why it raises red flags when one says Karen at State Farm can get you better rates than any other SF agent because "she knows how to write it". Maybe she's just very thorough and gets you all the discounts and ratings you deserve (and only those you deserve).

Actually Ronnie, when it comes to State Farm we (all agents) use the exact same system to do our quoting. We are trained that way. I quote the same way that Karen does, just as she quotes the same way that they do in Lubbock or any where in the state for that matter. If the agent does his or her job correctly, the quote will be the exact same anywhere in the state. I dont think Karen has anything to worry about. She's not underquoting nor misrepresenting anything. I have had a few claims, and my parents have had some claims over the past 30 (did you see that... *** 30 YEARS *** )... She knows what she is doing, and does it very well.
