Our government forced GM to honor warranties? Surely you jest.

If you research the deal the government flat out stole GM and left the stockholders with nada. Had GM liquidated their assets would have surpassed the loan (bailout) by a large margin. The loans at least kept many Americans at work for a bit longer.

When the government stake is eventually sold for a profit you can bet it will be pissed away. Our government couldn't run a proper whore house and be profitable.

I wonder if Toyota and Nissan will convert their factories to produce machinery for war as Ford, Chevy, and Dodge have done for us in the past?

I had an 01 Chevy(235,000 miles)and recently got an 05 Ford 100,000 miles), I now wonder what got into my head it doesn't ride nor drive as well, less power and less gas mileage to boot.
Not a bad truck, just not a Chevy.
All my driving is pulling a boat.
