I just fished a tourney in Arkansas and ended up just loving it. I would like to start fishing tournaments more often, i do not have a boat as of yet. I believe I am very good at catching bass. I did post a message to find a team mate in bass fishing section but did not have much luck, the men were really not taking me that seriously and had about 50 resonses that had nothing to do with fishing. I am planning on joining a club but just wanted to see if i could possibly find a women to team up with. I have a post in the partner finder section that explains more about me.

I also would just like to meet some women who like to go fishing, I fish from the bank all of the time on Lake Whitney and earlier in the year on the brazos. There are alot of good stocked ponds in my neighborhood. I like to catch all kinds of fish except catfish and I realy do not like to fish with live bait. I love to go to different places to fish. I will jump in the car and drive a couple of hours if I think I can catch some fish.

Good luck on finding a partner nearby. Surely there is somebody on TFF in your area, who likes to fish.

Well I was living in hot springs on Lake Hamilton for about a month and was going to try and get involved there, but things did not work out so I am back in Texas. I do have family that lives on the Lake there and have a boat to fish out of there. I was really getting to know the Lake very well and was going to try to guide part-time. I am going to check out the Arkansas scene because I have a place to stay there. There are not alot of tournaments on Hamilton outside of night tournaments because it is a really big recreational lake. I did not really like the idea of night fishing on this Lake because so many people get killed. It is a very dangerous Lake. I will look at next year for the Hamilton tournaments that are earlier before the vacation people start to flood the Lake. I think if I could have stayed I would have been able to win tournaments fishing with the men. I also had a former guide on the lake give me over 200 waypoints to put on my handheld. DId not have a chance to try them out. If you know any women who fish tournaments in Arkansas let me know. For the Lake Hamilton tournaments next year in Arkansas I will be looking for someone who wants to team up and fish out of boat I have there. I will be looking for someone here and not there.

It seesm like I heard while I was there that they had a very active womens club. I think they were talking about the FLW. I did meet George Cochran and talk to him while I was at Trader Bill's one day. We talked for a little bit but he did not have anything in his hands. After talking he grabbed something off of the counter and everybody noticed it was two cartons of night crawlers, everybody started laughing at him and told him that he better get out of their before we took his picture. He seemed to be a pretty nice guy.

Her name is Sylvia Murray and I can get you a contact number if you wish. She is married to one of the Murray brothers and was very active in the Diamond Lakes Bass'n Gals club.

Well it would depend on what part of arkansas diamond lake is in. Is this chapter in hot springs or do you know. I went to the bass n gals site for this area and am considering joining but will need to go to meeting first. I have found someone that has welcomed me to be a co-angler in a local club it is for males and females. This gentlemen seems to be very nice and extremely knowledgable and seems to like to teach people. Even so I still interested in being plugged in with women anglers and most likely will join bass n gals.

When she was in Arlington, TX, she was a VERY active part of Bass'nGals. I know she has fished with local BNG in the Hot Springs, AR area.
