wat bout parking?

Partial report from yesterday evening. Jeff (Crago), Whiterock Jesse, and I got there at around 3pm. In spite of the hot weather we managed around 15 fish by sundown There were 3 buffalo caught including Jeffs new PB at just under 20 pounds. I managed a 14 and a 10. Pictures will follow I'm sure.

At about 9:15 we were visited by the local Marshalls officers and were told that the park closes at sundown. We packed up our gear and I headed home. The rest of the group went searching for adventures elsewhere, Marine Creek Lake, I think. Have to wait for their report.

Jesse also headed home after that, but the rest of us moved to Marine Creek, and i ended up with 2 carp around 3 wopping pounds and around 4 just when Grant and I were packing up to leave he got a carp.

Here are some pics from Lake Worth, and i now know after just 3 trips to this location, that i will catch a 20...My buffalo weighed in at 19.8lbs on curts certified scales!

on another note, it looks like lake worth will be a day fishing lake only now, after fishing sunset park several times into the night and LEO's not minding my presents after dark, i figured fishing the lake after dark was not an issue. However, lastnight we did find out its stricktly a dawn to dusk lake, the young LEO's that ran us off lastnight made it very clear. The older LEO that i had encountered at Sunset park did not seem to mind a bit. Oh well, when the cooler weather start hitting i will be putting in many full days on my new location wating on that lump to swim in. I like my location bc its only 5 minutes or so from my house, and it has proven better in just a few trips more than any other location so far. Sunset, casino beach etc...

Its always the bloody LEOs who are to blame! At least you where not caney creeked

Those youngsters can be a pain in the backside sometimes!

i forgot to say i had a good time even tho i got a goose egg .jeff your lucky they ran us off i was going to get serious after dar k hahahaha jk ....it was nice to see new faces there as well i met barry from ft worth and the 3 -4 younger hispanic guys that showed up too ( sorry i didnt get any names ) hope ya can make it to some more gettogethers in the future

it wasnt sunset park it was the on across from casino . we could still the the bridge to the right and could see casino at about 2 oclock position .sorry i odnt remember the name

Any more tips on fishing Marina Park? What kind of fish can I expect there and what bait should I use? Never been to Lake Worth before.

carp and buffalo is all i target, you could use canned whole sweet corn as hook bait
