Finally, i got out there and got to use my "heavy gear" today at benbrook! needless to say after a little while my bait clickers started screaming!!! Hair rigs were working great and after a couple hours i landed a few small carp and one decent size, sorry no pics, left camera at parents, but my gear is working great, and oh man, what a sweet sweet sound it is to hear that run!!!

Glad to see the hair rig worked for you... If you are up for some more buffalo fishing, I'm gonna be back at Joe Pool Monday morning. It's only supposed to get up into the mid to upper 80s. I may be there a while....

It's really supposed to be that nice? That rocks. So glad I took Monday as my day off instead of today! Hopefully my son & I will see you guys out there. And if it's going to be that nice. I am less concerned that we won't be able to get there until about 9:00 - 9:30.

yeah, that is some nice weather for sure, i hope i can get out there, ill def have to go somewhere and enjoy the day with a hook in the water
