Its nice to be among friends
lol. I normally fish mornings now but my in-laws will be here Sunday afternoon and they want to go to the lake. We've sent them some pics of our catches and now they have the crappie bug. Back in early June we fished evenings and had spotty results. The water temp was much cooler then also.
Have fished both and the morning has produced the best. Nothing after dark. Went to a spot Thur. evening that produced 25 fish in the morning and only caught one dink in the evening.

My best bite has been 10am to 6pm. I don't start mt trips til 8am or 3pm for afternoon trips. It is hot but do you want to be comfortable or catch fish.
The sun is your friend, it drives the fish down into the shade. Low light brings to shallower and scatters them out.

I fished both a morning trip and an evening trip yesterday on RR. In the morning we caught a lot of fish but mostly small ones. The evening trip we caught mostly bigger fish. By the way thanks Guy for helping me out with my morning group trip. Danny said they had a great time.
