i know this is going to soud like a funny question but can you access that part? the part that is leaking on the roof from the top? if you can see how it connected and take a pic if you can. Not a roofer but had a similar problem for a client of mine and it was fixed pretty easy with some caulk and flashing.
I agree, its all about how they tied everything in. This is where a more experienced crew will shine vs a crew that hasn't been around too long. Have you got the contractor on the phone yet?
Thanks guys, they are actually here now stripping a good part of the roof off, then they are putting on rolled roofing from there and then re-shingle over that. Thanks for all the feedback!
