yet again, great trip

Man, I've been creeped out by those things ever since I saw crocodiles swarming on the banks in the old Tarzan movies when I was a kid. I don't mind seeing 'em in zoos or in pictures, but the thought of seeing one live and in color would be pretty unnerving.

That is a great looking pompano. As you found out, they are seriously good table fare. I know they fight like fiends. Looks like you were using light tackle. I caught an African pompano (26lbs) deep sea fishing out of South Padre. I was using heavy tackle and he pounded me severely. You have some great memories being stored. Be thankful for your opportunities... Congratulations

BTW, I have to say I'm loving the pic of the Macaw. I'm a big fan of the Parrot type birds as I have a pet Jenday Conure.

we taught a parrot over there to say "YOU HOO" to his keeper. It was hilarious.
