Went out Friday after work with my buddy Joe to LL.
Caught about 100 with 3 keepers.
Went out this morning with partner Mike to DeVine.
Very few dinks but some fine keepers.
I like the odds at DeVine right now. What you do catch are good size. Toughest part is waiting for the bassers (sounds like that word needs "T&D" in there somewhere) to get out of the way. coachHey, bassers, your sitting on top of the brush piles throwing your lures toward shore. A favorite saying from Mr. Dance I like: "Sometimes the fish are behind you". Yellow/Chart Rocky Tops with shad oil/Garlic (my own mix and secret application.
Crappie must be Italian 'cause they love that Garlic and they have a vowel at the end of their name.
Mike has pictures for later.

Congrats BigMack! I can leave early from work any day next week if you want to go! I can get to the lake around 4pm or so. BTW, is Mt. Rushmore still producing?

I fished the Vine yesterday for an hour or so while adjusting the idle on my boat...Caught 5 keepers and a couple of throw backs...You are right about the quality of fish vs other lakes...If you can find them they are good fish...

Hey Stucky we may have to bring our coats next week. That cold front sounds frigid. loco
Nope nothing at Mt. Rushmore II (I haven't showed you the original yet). But just across the lake is booming. I got my gps mark on it again as well as a fresh mark for the rock crusher.
Saw Skeeter175 (another sandy guy converted to MCD) and finally met Jeff Schiller today. I thought Jeff was Guy and had shaved that lovely goatee. Those boats look identical, must be twins. Did Guy lend you his boat Jeff? Hey, I want to rent it for next weekend! I don't use nibbles so no mess, but it will come back smelling like fish.

Ha ha..right? Hey man, just say the word and I'll meet you there next week.

Yeah Tim, you are right about that. If you are on fish on Grapevine, they are usually good fish.

Sorry guys but the pics were cr*p.......something about Mack's boat and my camera isn't compatible. The pic of my 2.2# on LOP came out the same way....fuzzier than a peach.

It was a good day though after we got Mack's waypoints reloaded.
