I currently have a 07 Classic Duramax and it pulls great, getting 19 mpg when pulling the boat. I would love to try out the Tundra but want to know what others are getting when pulling their boat. Thanks in advance.

gas engines wont ever have the same comparable MPG to a diesel when towing. i would guess 13mpg ona tundra when towing, which is about normal for an v8 gas engine.

I say if you really want a different truck, and you can afford it, get one. I don't think the gas motor will be as good for towing, but unless you tow a lot with a big load (bigger than a standard bass boat) gas will be fine.
