I'll quote a great fisherman we all know, "We will have more than 1 team, and less than 100".

If it's real hot that may keep a few people away but I fully expect to have 15-20 teams participate.

Never been to Lavon, though they got the rains this year to make the lake healthy again.

I hope to hook up with some of you here later this Summer, because my freezer is bare and the family is getting ancy at me for not keeping it stocked. :P

I may try the slips to see if I can get 3-5 keepers, but doubt it'll happen.

Lake is getting better, should see some decent stringers weighed.

Fished this morning with Fillet O' Crappie at Lavon. We caught about 30 fish with about 7 or so keepers. All were caught on timber and brushpiles in 15-20 ft. Today was my first time fishing Lavon and I do have to say I was impressed. Big fish went about 1 1/4 lbs. Black/Chart Rocky Tops did the trick. Should be a great time at the tourney and should be alot of fish caught.

My buddy and I are wanting to give a crappie tourney a try.

What is the entry fee? Are newcomers welcome?
