Can I remove a tandem axle trailer wheel off to repair a flat tire without having to remove and reinstall the bearings?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Yes.

But while the wheel is off it's always a good time to check the bearings. If you're like me, you hate those kinds of surprises while on the way to the lake. When it comes to boat hubs and bearings the old saying "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" couldn't be more true.
