Attend CAT's July 7th meeting to learn more about the 'how to' fish Lake Waco. Guide Jason Anderson of BigCrappie.com will conduct an informative seminar featuring how to approach different ways to fish Lake Waco's timber, brush piles, bridges and yes, creeks... and more. And some of the more is Wes Belcher of Bottom Bouncer Guide Service. He will be sharing his crappie experience in an 'all about minnows' session.

Weigh-in driving information: The Lake Waco weigh-in will be at Twin Bridges Park, formerly known as Speegleville III Park. There is a four-lane boat ramp, and a group shelter, which we have reserved. The fee to enter the park is $1.00 per person up to $4.00 per vehicle. Twin Bridges Park is located on the west shore of the lake. From IH 35 take Hwy 6 north for about 6 miles, take Speegleville III Park exit to the right, continue straight 1/2 mile to park entrance.

Note: If Lake Ray Roberts (51 boat entries) was your first CAT Tournament you can still qualify for the Texas State Crappie Championship (TSCC) by fishing the remaining tournaments no matter where you place.

When is the meeting to discuss the Lake Waco tourney?

July 7th.

I hear wes that in july you can catch fish as shallow as five foot of water wow!!!!!!!! me and jeff will be fishimg deeper though.

Confirming July 7th. Carrollton Library; doors open at 6pm, meeting begins at 7pm.

The tournament is on. The first entry was received today.

That would be me! I lived in Waco for three years and fished the lake a lot. I will share everything I know!

if me and my partner can get a boat by then we will be there.

I'll be there for the weighin/pick up my crappie sculpture from Happie Crappie/and see a few of my fishing buds. Not gonna be able to fish it. Wish you all luck. Should be a good tourney.

Host hotel has been posted on the Club Forum...it is a Super 8 and just a few miles from the ramp. I booked our room last night.

cant take off on that friday before the tourney so what is the last day we can fish the lake without getting in trouble

Jimmy is responding correctly by pointing out to READ the rules yourself.
Just like we say at work "Do not respond to Verbal Orders" go by the book so there is no misunderstanding.

Great lake to catch Crappie - if you want an edge - take a trip with Rob Jolliff before that event - (254) 938-2681 Hm or (254) 855-7371 Cell.

You will have a great time - catch them all and (I think if you are a good student) you will win the tournament.

It's a Win - Win, (if I was not booked all the time - yep I too would book Rob - he can teach you so much) - he always kicks my assss when I have a boat over load and need his help for Crappie fishing customers.

Bring home the big bucks!

I have been with Rob 25-30 times and there has never been a time we didnt limit out. Most of the time we would limit out in a couple hours. He has about 5 or 6 lakes that he guides on. You will not find a nicer guide anywhere!

How many are signed up so far???

If anyone needs a partner and has a backseat open, I would be happy to split the expenses.
