I just got back from Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs Arkansas and fished in a men's tournament. It was my first time to ever fish a tournament and I really never thought I would enjoy fishing them. Well I absolutely loved it and I also loved staying in Hot Springs for over a month. We came in 4th place but I only caught one keeper. The lake is not known for quality bass but on my own I caught a 4 1/2 pounder and quite a few 3 pounders. The person I was fishing with would not go to the spots that I had told him there were some big fish because he beleived it was too shallow or it was not brush, so I do think that if he would have listened to me we could have one the tournament, we did not limit out. I would really love to start fishing tournaments for fun. I do not have a boat here in Texas where I live but am very good at bass fishing. I also had a guide send me over 250 waypoints on Lake Hamilton to put on my GPS but never got a chance to try them out. If someone ever needs a partner on Lake Hamilton look me up, I really learned alot about this lake because I fished it everyday for the last 1 1/2 months.

Just google Texas Bass Clubs and see what comes up. Usually there is a massaive list of clubs. You may or may not find a womens bass club but there are alot of guys out there who dont mind a female back seater. Just dont take any [censored] off em. Plus back seating is a good way to learn the lakes around your area for when you get your own boat.
