We had 7 teams last week so thats an improvement. The ramp is fine dont let anyone tell you different. Come out and lets see if we can get it back to what it was. 10+ teams.

Last week it took 2 fish for 6.5 pounds and weights should be getting better.

there are some really good fish in weatherford. Lots of 8-10s caught every year. It would be even better if people would not catch them crappie fishing and then eat them.

What is the lake level?We came out about a month ago and had 5 boats,and ramp was low,is the rain brought it up much?And another question.Why does a Marina that is hosting a tourney,charge us to launch?We called and they said no fee then when we got there there was one?

You pay 5$ to the marina for launch then 25$ entry to the tourney. Same as 30$ entry and taking money out for the marina. Lake is still low but I have been catching quality fish and launching is no trouble

We caught some of it this past weekend, but I dont think it would have come up much from where it was.

I fished a couple of them earlier this year, but the last few weeks, I have been out of town. I think were going to try to make it out there tomorrow but I wont know till after lunch sometime.

last time i was out there I think we had 6 and the week before that there was 8. I dont know how many have showed up the last couple of weeks.

I know the Wednesday night at Mineral Wells had @20 boats here lately.

I don't know the lake. Is it stumpy. What kind of structure is there. The $30. entry fee. Is it per boat or team. I fish Granbury poor mans tourn. on wed would like to find another tourn. to fish as well. Thank You.

fisherman 4 life this pete i met you a while back i had the wolf dog, anyways they might be fishing this week, i didnt fish last week the lake is like a cearal bowl, a few docks in the water but if you can find the brushpiles or the dock that just seems to hold all the fish than your set its been slow but the lake has some pigs in it! i fished granbury last week what won it? there were shad every where out there! i plan on fishing again but dont know yet

Come on out and give it a shot, the lake is pretty open to run, not a lot of cover except for docks and a few points.

Yea those were the good old days..

Look at all the money we have thrown away on all the different items, and I think we still caught more fish out of our bass busters.

Looking forward to getting back at it at Weatherford. I used to fish the WM tourney every week, this was about 10 years ago. Gary Klein used to show up and fish as well. We usually had about 5-10 boats, some good purses.

Can't wait. I'll be back in TX on the 19th, and am gonna aim for fishing the tourney on the 20th.

Can't wait to meet up with some of you folks!
