usually bucktails 1/2 3/4 ounce is good...throw it and keep it off the bottom is all i can tell yea...haven't been out in a while

I use a 3oz bucktail and let it hug the bottom. When your line gets tight hold on! Cuz its a big rock on the other end lol

lots of options. lists below is ranked best to worst. some might disagree

- 4oz weight + 2 oz slab
- weighted pencil popper used as slow crank bait
- cork and slab
- cork and bait (bigperch)
- crankbaits
- jigs
- dribpt skippies

Been up there since since the first day they let open the flood gate and all we got are a pair of these. I wonder if tripers bite on skunk tail instead of instead of buck tail.

You can use white color Spoiler Shad by Creme. WallMart has those, $1.16 for a pack of 2. We use it for last couple of day at Dam, caught lot of stripers, very good size.
The problem is, you may have to try few WallMart stores, those lures are gone in lot of WallMart. The word is out, and people bought those lures like crazy.

Anyone know where I can get my hands on some Black Salty?
Going to use that with 4oz weight below the bait shop. The dude told me he hit his limit in an hour and all were over 10 pound. One was 28 pound.
