well, the picture I posted earlier wasn't that great of her PB and didn't do it any justice.. so I just wanted to post this slightly better pic from my friend's camera (wish I was the one taking the pictures to get a much better angle/view):   also, there are more pics from my friend's camera at the following link if you haven't had enough already (you probably have to cut/paste the link into a new web browser): http://s654.photobucket.com/albums/uu266...%20Long%20pics/

hey thanks again for your comments everyone! she definitely had a hard time bringing this one in... and when we got it into the net... I knew it was a 30# at least!
hope to make it back to Emma Long before I head back to Southern Cal in a couple months...

yeah, you're telling me! well, you just had to be there to hear the run that 31# made on the alarm before she got to it... I think it nearly spooled the reel a couple times during her battle with it... I just told her to take her time and eventually we'll land it.. hahaha.. yeah, like 20 minutes later.
She said she felt a little sore the next day~
I was hoping someone would break the 30# barrier, and I have no prob that it was my wife!~
I guess I can always have an excuse for now---"Honey, I'm going fishing again to try to break your record!"
