I couldn't believe the runs we were having so far, and how fast and furious the action continued to be into the night...

Interestingly, while I was beginning to reel in one of my lines in to rebait it, I felt a tug and something was fighting hard (though not as hard as a carp)... we were thinking maybe it was a catfish, but this is what we caught on nanshe maize!!!:

this was the last carp of the night session:

after only a couple hours of sleep, I went to rebait and cast out the lines... about 30 minutes later.. the alarm went off and a killer/nonstop run happened... by the time my wife got to the pole, maybe 100 yards had been taken out... she battled nearly 20 minutes with this one:

and this was her first carp and she set a big fish/ultimate PB for our session (I had to help her hold this one up!!!):

here's a quick vid of her PB (and again, pardon the excitement!!!):

I couldn't believe it.. neither could she.. this one was a fat hog!!! I will have to post more pics of this one when I get the pics from my friend. She broke the 30 lb barrier!!!! Now we were looking to break the 40 lb barrier next! hahaha...

Well, the action kinda slowed down for a couple hours.. nice down time though:

Buffalo PB: 37 lb
Common Carp PB: 25.48 lb
My wife's common carp PB: 31.12 lb

sorry LSC... that 12lb reading was for a carp and not for that bass (my mistake.. will try to correct that soon.. but I did mention in my first post that we caught a bass almost 7 lbs)... it should be a 6.8 lb bass.. so probably didn't beat your 7lb on a boilie! hehe.. I think the weight shows up in the small youtube clip there..

sorry for the confusion~
