SPRING FLY FISHING CLASSIC ON CADDO

Before this front came in the water temp. was in the high 60's and low 70's in some of the main lake areas, the rive temp was in the mid 60's.
Have found some lil pad starting to some up to the top, very little, but by the time our fly fishing trip get here we should have some area with some lil pad out to make for some good fishing in the open areas.
In some of the area we have found a lots of bed, by no bass on them, we think they have pull back out because of this cold front.
Can’t wait until you all get here and let the fly fishing again, the Bream should be bedding up this time of the year the full moon is the 9th and if the water temp is in the mid 70's it should be on.

We trip’s on Caddo 13th 14th , who out there would like to se some photo of the Crip’s Camp area and the water in that area.?

The ARK-LA-TEX SPORTSMAN OUTDOOR SHOW plan on filming this.!!!

Caddo Lake 3-26-09
Just got off caddo and the bass fishing was good in Goose Prairie a long the boat lane, fish with zoom baby bass Super Fluke. Caddo is at 170.32 about 2 feet high.
Grass is about 2 feet under water in most places.
Lily Pads are starting to show up.
Bass - Good Goose Prairie - Super Fluke has been working, top water work some.
Crappie - Fair main lake trees
Pickerel - Good Goose Prairie - Beetle Spin typ baits, soft plastic baits
White bass - Fair in the river
Bream - slow

Nice thing about Caddo (well, one of the nice things) is that it's not all that far from the Metroplex but gives the feeling of having traveled to a very distant place. At least that was something I felt while there.

Funds are really tight right now but I am going to do my best to make it.

Just need to let you know, do to my wife Cancer coming back, it look like if we can make it to Caddo at all it will be for one or two hours on Friday and maybe Saturday.
Just found out March 27 after her MRI Her brain cancer is back.
