Dear TFF,

A lot of you at TFF keep touting Lowrance products but have you ever tried to get a hold of them on their "Customer Service" number, 1-800-324-1356?

GOOD LUCK! ...Plan on waiting ON-HOLD at least an hour+ or be disconnected after you've already been 'on-hold' for what seems like an eternity.

I'm in no way saying that Lowrance has bad products --they are very good and certainly popular (obviously, from comments on TFF)-- the people that own them usually swear by them; but God forbid you have a problem or question; You're SOL if you expect to talk with someone quickly to ask a question on any level.

HAVE YOUR CALL ON "SPEAKER PHONE" so if and when they finally answer, your ear hasn't grown attached to the phone!

Always call early in the morning. Wait will be only a few minutes. But yes, they are very slow.

Yep they are slow. Just call early and never on a Monday. Last call I was on hold less than ten minutes.

I've never had a problem. They even fixed my stuff out of warranty for free and helped me hook up my gps when I first got it.

The place to complain about slow response or bad service is the corporate office,it does not matter what the product is the main office needs to know when you are dissatisfied,just maintain your cool and suggest to them that they do not have enough people manning their phones.I have dealt with several corporate offices and they tell me that they are not aware of a problem unless someone tells them and this always gets the ball rolling in high gear.Just be nice
