2 labs need homes - MUST stay together

Please pass along to all family, friends, coworkers - spead the word and help find these two adorable labs a home.

Young - & female - well cared for. Family losing home.
Desperate to find loving home.

Already housebroken, trained, love kids, neutered, up to date on shots....what more could you ask for.

But must stay together.

Contact: Katherine at: kjmorris74@yahoo.com

Thanks for your help spreading the word. Read their story below.

The story...

This family has lost their home and the apartment does not allow dogs. They are looking for a home for the two Labs.

As many of you know, we are moving in just2weeks. Unfortunately, I have still not been able to find a good home for Cookie and Coco.
We're not able to take our beloved doggies with us and I've been desperately trying to find a home for both of them 'together'. They were raised together and pine without each other. The Lab rescue have already said that they would probably separate them, so this is my last
resort.

Recently I tried to take Coco out in my car alone and she TOTALLY refused to even get into the car without Cookie.....!!!! She absolutely pulled back on her haunches until Cookie was by her side. Both doggies are in great health, have been spayed and have ID chips implanted under the skin.

Cookie turned 3 December 10th and Coco will be 3 April 1st. Cookie is my mellow-yellow, and just loves her tummy rubbed. Coco is adorably funny and lives for her "ball". She also loves the water..... Cookie loves lots of attention. Both doggies are loyal and love to walk. They have been raised with my 3 kids running around all over the place, and
have survived Sammy's constant hugging and love of 'dress-up', so they are fantastic family dogs. This is by far one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make, but under the circumstances I have no
choice.

Please, Please forward these pics to all you know and help me find a great home for these fabulous doggies. They are just adorable and it's heartbreaking to let them go. In a perfect world, I hope that we could find someone local so that we can still keep in touch and visit them. I pray that someone, somewhere can help us keep Cookie and Coco together, and love them just as much as we do. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

I love labs, I had a black lab once. Trying to talk my wife into taking Cookie and Coco but we already have two and she is not giving in....yet.

BTW, I have a question about the implanted chips. Do they have the owners info on the chip and can it be edited to show the new owners info?

Gambit, I've got a neighbor who is very interested in these labs. They tried the email but haven't heard back. PM me if you have additional contact info and I'll try and hook them up. We've got labs but no more room. They lost their 14+ yr old lab about 8 months ago. Thanks.

The info in the microchips can be changed just by filling out some paper work. It's easy to do. When I got my lab I did it. ANybody who is a dog lover and has room for these dogs would do well to take them if you can provide a good home for them. Labs are great dogs.

this is a little strange, the info was passed on to me from a coworker, said he knew the family. I wonder how it's gotten around to so many people

Have these two girls found a new home? I have 4 yellow Labs myself and have put the word out. Just need to know if they are still available and what the contact information would be if I find someone for them. They are beautiful. I would take them my self if it wasn't for my 4 kids in fur!

I hate to do it but I'm about ready to call BS on this. My wife also got it at work last week. My neighbors have been looking for a lab and would gladly take two and on sunday emailed the address provided. They haven't heard a word back. If you google Cookie and Coco labs you'll find lots of hits...same sad story. I found the story in California and New York and Sugarland, Texas. None of the people I have asked about the message know the original sender.

mods please delete this thread, I'm callin B.S. on this, even though I posted it for a friend who "knows" the family, I've become to think that either it's B.S. or the labs already found a home and the family isn't responding because the message has gotten too widespead and hasn't been stopped yet

These labs are listed on "www.animalranchresort.com" at least they were there as of yesterday. I emailed the place asking if they existed and are still for adoption. I got a response from a Jana Larson saying that they are very real and need a home. This place is located in San Angelo, Texas. I did not research it any further. Just wanted to let the folks here at TFF know what I found. This place says it is a foster home for animals. I hope it is not a hoax. I may do some more checking.
