Frank, I had 4 Tritons up until 03. The only thing that you will have to do is cut into the very front vertical lip of your front storage box. You may cut 2"-3" out of it. Other than that no problems, and No it will not weaken the deck of your Triton. The decks on these boats anymore are incredibly strong. Just make sure you use a good outdoor silicone to seal up the edges of your cut area. MM

I would suggest what ever brand you select to mount it in the center. You can then run the controls with either foot without twisting. It will be easier to install, on most boats there is not that much room to go off center and it sure is going to look better. They are greattttt.

I was able to peel the cover off the front of the boat a little bit ago, after pouring water on it to melt the ice. I layed out a cardboard cutout of the size of the tray. It looks like the center is the only real option for me anyway. I want to thank everyone for their inputs. I cant wait tell the tray gets here so I can get it in and get back on the water to try it out. Will let everyone know in a week or two.

I installed my recessed foot tray and it turned out GREAT. I did use trolleze.com and it was a flawless application. I had it shipped to my work and that day, I took it home and cut a hole in my boat. It took me until 11:30 to get-r-done, but I am completely happy. I was able to put a newer, more powerful trolling motor on when there was a big hole on the deck. I could not have put that TM on without that extra space. After the TM was in place, I finnished the tray. I used the boat on Saturday and it was great. I would recommend putting one of these on. I am very happy and all for under 100.00
