Vought Bass Club out of Grand Prairie is seeking new members for 2009. Our membership fee for new members is $18 and that covers your spouse as well. Entry fee for each club tournament is $25 per male and $15 per female. Kids can fish free. Ladies can win the regular tournament but we also add a seperate $10 ladies big bass and it carrys over if none caught. We also carry a running $2 side pot for a 6# or better bass.
We fish 12 club tournaments a year. We will fish the Battle of the Bass Clubs. We have a Tournament of Champions every year. We will send our Top 6 to a year ending Top 6 Club event. And we have an Annual Awards Banquet.
Our schedule is posted on the website. If you are not sure you want to join just show up at the ramp and fish with us as a guest. If you join later, we will go back and add your weights from the beginning of the year.

Not this year. We were real worried about the ramp situation, so we will be at Welsh instead this year on Jan 31.

We are fishing this saturday jan 31 at Welsh and next Saturday Feb 7 at Ray Hubbard and Feb 14 at Ray Hubbard in the Battle of the Bass Clubs. 3 weeks in a row to start the year.

i would like to join,but i am dissabled vet and in a wheelchair,plus i do not own a boat anymore,i am looking for people that would be willing to take me out fishing or even some tournament fishing,i will be getting me a new boat in june or july.

We would love to have you bassangler38. You will need to find a partner that has a boat as we are not a draw club. You fish with who brings you. You are also welcomed to fish as a guest up to 2 times per year.
I would like to invite you to fish with me personally as a guest on April 11 at Fork or or in May on Cedar Creek or any other club tournament later in the year like Ray Hubbard in Sept. Just shoot me an email ahead of time.

Our 3rd tournament of the year is tomorrow, Saturday March 7 at Lake Leon from 6:30am to 3:00pm.

Also if you are interested in being a member of a Federation club then you should fish with the DFW Bassmasters. About 1/2 of us are members of both and we fish our club tournaments at the same time. 3 of the DFW Bassmasters members have just qualified to fish the TBF Divisional in Arkansas where they will be attempting to qualify for the TBF National Championship next year.
