It look real to me and it looks big but not nearly as big as 1200lbs. This is the same type of pic that makes elk look huge when the huner is way behind it reaching out to hold a tinewhile the whole other half of the rack is infront of the camera. Its not a fake its just deceptive

Looks real to me... Why are the people always behind it? Not many fisherman or hunters stand in front of their 'trophy' when taking a picture of it (why would they). The posers are also doing what a lot of fisherman do to make their catch look larger by placing the target being photographed several feet in front of them.

The shadows in the picture with the pickup look right to me as well...

FAKE! look closely at the last pic. See the boot print next to the vegitation, below the belly of the pig, its bigger than the mans head.

Those guys look eastern European to me.The two on the each end.

That truck is not a vehicle you see much over here , you would see them in Europe with the wardens.

I believe there are 2 different hogs in those pictures. Not in the US and the pictures look off.

Looks like a russian boar, and I dont think those guys came from La, but a big pig no doubt. So to answer the post yes and no. Pic is real, is hog 1800 lbs (doubt it), is it from northeren LA (I would say no).

I wonder what the largest boar killed anywhere in the world is. With accurate documentation with weight and all. With all hogs being feral I would think if they get over a 1500 lbs anywhere than they could possibly get that big here given the right conditions- like feeding off a protein feeder its entire life. I know this one is tricky photagraphy but I wonder if they really exist over 1500...

Or even 1000 lbs? I think the record may be around 650 with a quick intenet search.

Here is a story about a 11 y.o. shooting one over 1000. It also appears he and his father quickly gobbled down the entire hog on-site. Embarrassing how fat they are.

The one in the second pic looks alot bigger than the one in the third pic. Fake!

theres a picture in the bass pro mens bathroom above the pissers of a russian boar, someone correct me but i think its like 1600lbs or something close to it... i just saw it 3 days ago, and yet cant remember what the weight was.
