What are the winter water temps? With it being a hot water lake thought I would ask. Where can you safely launch? I've been past the lake several times & have never seen steam on it.

Honey Hole Magazine had a show on it a week ago. I'm sure it was that lake. Wilcox said it was a very shallow lake, and across from a Baptist College if I remember right.

Has anyone been since Honey Hole was there? I figured that would have made some people want to go

Did you do any good? Is the ramp safe to park and leave your truck?

My buddy and I launched the boat out there saturday and fished the damn for a couple hours. We couldnt really hit too many spots becuase the wind was howling. We ended up with 2 big sandbass. Didnt have any problems launching, but there was alot of people that were parking at the ramp and sleeping in their cars?

YES! LOTS of shad in this lake. The creek that goes under 14th st was just bubbling with them the last time I was out there.
