I'm planning a trip to Falcon and would welcome any advice on guides, places to stay, places to eat, etc. Thanks.

Cant go wrong with any of the locals, and don't forget about Debra Hengst, either. It's her favorite body of water, and she can find em, too.
My dad and I fished with Robert. We didn't have a STELLAR day, but we did put some good fish in the boat. Stellar meaning 5lber after 5lber...he was very knowledgeable, extremely friendly, and fun to be on the water with. He gets my thumbs up.
Heard great things about Charlie Harrelson, lets face it, he knows his stuff too. And Speedy? How much money has he won on that lake over the years? Can't argue with the proof.
In summation, they are all worthwile. Pick a name and roll.

Check out: http://tackleandrods.com/local/food.htmfor a pretty accurate review of the Food. I can't think of ANY place down there that does NOT have good & inexpensive food!!! Good Guides, Good Fishing, Great Food - it doesn't get much better than that!!!!!

Oso Blanco is a real nice play to stay and they have a good ramp at the present lake levels. Charlie Haralson is a class act and taught me alot about flipping/pitching.
