Don't set your pole down!!!

Took my kids to a local pond Friday. We were using some minnows and catching lots of 12-14in bass. I always tell my kids to never set their pole down. Well my daughter sets her pole down to take a picture of my wife and son and no sooner did she set it down and it was gone. So i tied a slab on and made a few cast before i snagged the line. I got the pole to the bank with moss all over it and the fish was still on. When she finally got the fish in this was on the end of her line.

Great story, and that explains the fish. But why is your son giving you daughter the stink eye? He looks ticked. Is that another story?

Nice fish/story
Me and a friend for mine were at fork night fishing. His pole dissappeared and about 3 hours later he hooks it by accident and reels it in thinking he has a big fish.. LOL

Chicken Man i belive that is the pond right across from Little Elm's Fire Station #2 located on Walker Ln. Thats where I work and always see people fishing there.
