Hey guys, looks like I am out this weekend the army resq'd OSC so I will be staying in dallas.

What part of austin will you guys be in? Would like to come down and meet you guys. My son love to look at the carp you all catch. we have strated to carp fish but no luck yet.

Looks like LoneStarCarper isn't going to be down there, and I'd be the only one there this weekend, so I think I'm going to try a local venue here in the Bryan/College Station. I've never fished Lake Summerville before, think I'll go scout out a location and pre-bait today. I've heard there's a dam that might produce.

How about this.... I'll have Friday/Sat/Sunday off on October 31 - Nov. 2. If AgFisher is going to be in town then, and you're in the area, how about we meet up out at either Emma Long Park or Town Lake and hit the bank together? I'm always willing to show others how to tie a hair rig (thanks for showing me Starless Dragon!).

That sound good to me. I do not live far from Emma or town lake. I want my son to hook into a nice carp. I will try to get sat, sun. I have seen all the pics that you all post from Emma looks like so much fun. He is olny 5 years old but is ready of anything that comes his way. Thank you very much on offering to help. Mauro

He has pulled in a 20# flathead all by him self. He put the fishing pole in between his legs and held on the whole time. I just held him by the shorts.
