Crabbing Looking for a place - New in town

Hello,
I just moved to Houston and looking for a good place to go crabbing. I understand that Ike destroyed all the fishing piers in Galveston. Someone told me that the Clear Lake Park has a nice pier and the crabbing is good on it.
Any other areas you guys suggest.
