Hi to you...I was in Rockport about a month ago but was fishing from a motel pier. Caught several trout and a couple of reds on dead shrimp and mullet... going back this weekend and will let you know how it was...

Hey K mc1...I do alot of fishing in that area and there is realy good fishing on fulton beach road on those peirs and around them to..Theres a hotel called balboa courts and i always have great luck out there at night fishing with live shrimp and soft plastic lures (speck rigs, cocaho minnows)...I also have good luck wade fishing around the peirs in the morning with piggy perch free lined and shrimp under a popping cork..Hope this info will help you...good luck

if you do not have a boat i would recomment Port Bay. it has road access and is quit shallow under 2 foot. i usually fish with croaker or spoons depending on the time of year.

if you have a boat i would recommend a few of the reefs in copano bay mainly the reef northwest of the bridge, it is about 4 foor deep but holds excellent fish of the most west point.
