Has anyone had good/bad experience with Lake Park Marine?
If not is there a trustworthy mechanic that you would recommend in the Lake Cities / Lewisville area?

I need some diagnosis and repair on a 1976 Johnson Seahorse 4 135 hp engine.

Thanks,
Fab

I would recommend Big Daddy's Boat Repair on Business 121. Phone number is 972-420-1392. Nothing against anyone else...just have only used Big Daddy's in this area and they treated me very well...

I had what I thought was a major problem earlier in the year...actually it was major since it stranded me twice. Turns out it was a gas line with a split you could only see gas leaking out under pressure.

Hard to believe but it was indeed the fix and they only charged me something like $40. They could have told me anything and charged me anything and I would have believed them...very honest folks.

Once I took it in for something minor they were not going to charge me so I at least gave the tech a $20 bill...

I will not hesitate to use them again...

Mel at Lake Park rebuilt my Merc 175 EFI this time last year and it's been running like a champ. Lake Park does all my work.

There is a guy on here named Spanky. He comes to your house. I've yet to see a negative post on the TFF about the work he does.

Lake Park rebuilt my Yammie a few years back and it was running great when I sold it. I would trust them to do work for me again.

Thanks everyone for your input. Sounds like that they do good work.

I store my boat at Lewisville boat storage and they can just pull it out of storage and work on it and put it back for me so it seems like a good choice to use them.
Thanks,
Fab
