So I'm in my garage this morning poking about, you know, organzing and such and I notice something out of the ordinary.
"What in the Heck," I'm thinking. Did a clown get loose in here and lose some hair? Now, I found this strange ball of fibers in the corner of the garage so I get to thinking....
I check the other corners and....
Oh boy.. it looks like my Maize and Calf Manna are on the job even if I'm not at the lake. So now the hunt is on. It didn't take long before I found a couple mice, little ones, scurrying about, running for cover.
Unfortunately, this leads to a complete garage overhaul. I pull everything out, find all my bags of deer corn, sweet feed, range cubes have little mice holes in them. Not just that but my top soil, ant killer, grass seed and even a sleeping bag has been violated.
I finally narrow it down to my brick stack and spot the main culprit....
There was an unfortunate brick accident that happened at that point that ended Mickey's reign in the dark corners of my garage.
For any children that might be reading, Mickey is just taking a nap. *wink* *wink*
A trip to Lowes and now my bait is all stored in nice, sealable tupperware bins.
The Moral of the Story:Practice safe bait storage, it could save a life.
