Hey guys,
Looking for a good guide for some striper fishing on Texoma. Any suggestions, anyone had any good luck that you would like to pass on.
Also, what pricing do you usually get 1/2 and full day (ballpark).

There are many fine Texoma guides but I would lean towards Chris Carey of www.striperexpress.com

Have fished with many over the years including the ones that get kudos on this forum. JD Lyle www.texomaguide.com is by far the only professional guide on that lake with the best and highest quality equipment including the boat pictured above. Been with Tinkers and Striper express and Barnett and Bob wilson and Capt cal and many others. Oh Btw, Ive been with JD and or one of his associates 12 times in the last 4 years. wont use any of the others ever again.

Hey guys,
Looking for a good guide for some striper fishing on Texoma. Any suggestions, anyone had any good luck that you would like to pass on.
Also, what pricing do you usually get 1/2 and full day (ballpark). I have only fished with JD Lyle when fishing there using a guide. I like to also fish it by myself, but as high as gas has been and the limited time I can go, just so much easier getting lined up with JD and having him put you on the fish. I have fished with him 4 times I believe over the past 2-3 years, and will again the first part of December. Only problem you will have with JD is getting a date on his calendar, but email him or call him he can get you fixed up. I know that there are others on here that have been mentioned on here, but haven't fished with those guys. I am sure that all have pro's con's. I just haven't had a bad trip with JD. Good luck with your choice and your trip.

Bob Wilson (903)463-3754. Very nice man. I'd pay just for the conversations alone. He puts you on the fish and I just enjoy being around him.

I love this topic. It always puts a smile on my face. A colleague of mine (a fly fisherman) fished with you a while back and still worked up about the great trip he had with you.

My $.02 is on JD Lyle. As a matter of fact I will be on his boat this weekend. I usually book 4 trips a year with JD and have never been dissapointed.

I vote for JD Lyle. He always catches a lot of fish and everytime I have seen him on the lake his customers seem to be having a great time, men and women alike.
