I don't think anyone is patronizing anyone here. Make no mistake, I have no sympathy for McCain. He agreed to a path that was wrong and he agreed to a running mate that had no business being there. But, I have always respected McCain for his service to our country. I lost a lot of it in the last couple of weeks, and now he is doing damage control. But, it is too late for most.

I encourage you to cast your vote for Paul. Years ago, I cast mine for Perot even though he did not have a chance to win. Nevertheless, I felt better because I voted my conscious. you should also.

You guys don't come out with the conciliatory words until you think you have it in the bag. If you thought McCain still had a shot, you'd be breathing fire and brimstone and wouldn't have a kind word to say about him.

It's like players leaving the field with the winners telling the losers what a great game they played. Most of the time, there's nothing sincere about it....they just aren't gloating right there in front of them.

Congratulations. You guys will get exactly the kind of government you deserve.

It's kind of like the movie "Slapshot"! The team was good and popular playing a fighting style of hockey and changed to "old time hockey." Well, of course they did horrible until they went back to fighting. McCain just went "old time hockey" on you guys, and it's too late in this game to change back to a fighting style!

It isn't all bad. I just heard there are plenty of good jobs with Obama's ACORN organization. They have been receiving $500 million a year in taxpayer money to subvert our democratic form of government. If that fails I have 21 weapons and thousands of rounds of ammo and a nice piece of high ground picked out. I am looking forward to seeing all of the positive comments from the Obama crowd in a year.

Practice these sayings:

Yes, Sir, Master.

No, Sir, Master.

Heil, Obama!

We will probably have to drag him or push him across the finish line.

Politics is a contact sport. Time to play ball. This is no time for 'Statesmanship.'

It's about bruising your opponent.

If this election were a football game, McCain would be down by 10 points, 3 minutes to play, Obama has the ball after McCain just did a 3 and out. Obama is controlling the ball on the ground, eating up the clock and the McCain defense can't keep him from gaining 4 yard per carry.

Could McCain still win it? Theoretically, yes. But he has to pull off something big. He has to get the ball back and then get a quick score, then an off-side kick or if that fails, his defense must then shut Obama down cold..then score again.

We've all seen that happen. But most of the time....based upon the way the game has been played, you know that it's not.

That's how I feel about McCain. To me...it looks like he just wants to get this game over so he can go back to the locker-room.

McCain is playing nice now, so he can go back to the Senate and "reach across the aisle" again and help the Dems give us those wonderful bills like "McCain/Feingold" and maybe ram that amnesty bill down our throats again.

It ain't over. The Wilder Effect will rob Obama of 10-15% of the vote. Heck, Kerry had a bigger lead around this time.

I like the overconfidence because all the punk kids, no-gotties and urban-slackers will just stay home since Obama has it wrapped up. rolfmao

Now remember, things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean. I mean plumb, mad-dog mean. 'Cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live nor win. That's just the way it is.

McCain either does not want to win, or is a card carrying idiot. He needs to roll Jorge Bush under the bus, then go back and forward over him repeatedly. He needs to tap into the anger of the American voter. Say the first thing he will do is appoint a special prosecutor to investigate wall street and Congress. Make it Rudy. Tell the American people that they have been getting robbed and that he plans to stop it NOW.

Alas, he will not do it. I don't think he will do anything to stop the Obama march to socialism. America is done.

He's had his attack dog Palin and his zombie wife doing the attacks. He's attacked Obama on the campaign trail but could not face-to-face. His sole strategy is to attack Obama but not articulate his message. This is a campaign of failure.

He's filled his campaign staff with lobbyists and people giving him bad advice--don't you think he'd put the same failures on his presidential staff? Do you want his presidency to lurch along like his lousy campaign?

McCain in 2000:
"Uh, I, I just have to rely on the good judgment of the voters not to buy into these negative attack ads. Sooner or later, people are going to figure out if all you run is negative attack ads you don't have much of a vision for the future or you're not ready to articulate it."

The wheels fell off the Straight Talk Express a long time ago.
