The wife and I will be there in a couple of weeks and I was just wondering how it was looking.

It was awful a week ago. Water is up about 16' and the fish were not biting very well!

Did best in San Pedro and that wasn't good.

Thanks for the input Bumblebee. We were down there a month ago and it was the toughest time that I have ever had there. 4 keepers in 2 days ouch! Anybody out there heard anything good?

The fish really are biting, if you find them. I gave a couple that were fishing the CAST some locations to try and they caught a 10, an 8, some 5's and 6's and a lot of 2 and 3 pounders during practice. But, the wind got up on tournament day and the fish moved. Not to mention the 4' waves they had to fight to get to the spot. They still caught a limit, just not the kickers they had in practice. The fish are suspended now and in groups. Fish some sharp drop offs with a Senko type bait or an shad type swim bait such as the one that Xcite Baits sells.
