Went just below the dam after fishing caynon (slow) from about 530-630 and caught somewhere around 15 fish and had solid strikes on nearly every cast. I was using a plan mepps spinner most trout were 10-13" smallest 8" and biggest 14-15". They wouldn't touch my flies. They were fighting hard to boot very good runs and lots are ariel acrobats going on.

I was on the otherside of the concrete. There is another parking lot there and a small trail down to the river. The water is low enought to hop on the rocks to get the deep hole that is there.

I fished there a couple of times about 12 years ago in winter when they were releasing them. Those are the best fighting freshwater fish I've ever caught. We were slaying 'em on Panther Martin spinners, white with black spots. The second day they went deep so we put a split shot a foot above the lure. Caught bigger ones that way.
That water gets pretty dern cold in the winter!!
