Good luck Mr. benny,

I lived there for many years and don't know of any. We used to go out to the canals and pay lakes for catfish. Played a few times at "Ascarate" and pulled in some cats and some decent size carp. Never ate out of there but I gave away a lot of fish to people watching. I wonder if the golf courses stocked the water hazards... Real hot in the summer. Not sure how they would do unless it was a big. That place has changed alot in the past 15 years. The eastside is probably touching Horizon city by now. We used to go to Elephant Butte alot. I heard they are all drying up pretty bad. That was a 1:30-1:45 minute drive for us. Off friday pm after work and back Sunday am. I can't remember the name of the lake by Truth or Consquences. That use to be a good crappie and white bass lake. It must look like a swimming pool now. I need to look it up now and see all the damage....if you find any i would sure like to know. Some of my family still lives up there and I could take them someday.
