Anybody using the Acadia Sports casting reel?
Alum frame
Alum side covers
11 BB
Seems like a lot or reel for $80.00.
I know their warrenty on their rods are TOPS.

I have one of them. They are not bad reels. It casts pretty well when all the breaks are off. It reels smooth at well. I haven't used it a lot though because I use either shimano's or quantums the most.

That sounds good but it's hard to convince myself to buy one when Wally World has Revo S's on for $ 99.00 ea.'
I've got four Revo's and I KNOW thay are one GREAT reel.

Wet Vette, I would try one. I have a few Acadia rods and they are a solid rod and i expect nothing less with there reels. And on top of that, I would rather support a local, smaller company like Acadia than Wal-Mart.

I know where they are located, broke one of their rods and went by there and they replaced it AND one that broke and I got mad and threw it inthe lake and they still replaced it !!!
Nect time I'm going that way I'll stop and see how they look and feel.........

I have never used their products, but have been to their office since it is located very, very close to my job. They stand behind their products. The told me this face to face, they will replace any defective products and if you have their rods, if they break they will give you a new one.
