fished aransas pass this mornin and had a great time...i was throwing a glow she dog, lost the bone one to a nice speck n never replaced, and had a bunch of blowups...took a while to find bait, but once it happened the fun began...hooked my 1st keeper red on a top water, which was also my 1st keeper red n my yak...went 20.5 in....continued to fish and hooked a brute 27in, then a 24in...i'd have to say that my favorite was the 1st, gave me my first boat ride and slammed that top water...then the rain came ...rain wasn't too bad, but the wind picked up after the rain and that was tough...didn't waste n e time eating them either...thanks to all for the tips...this truly is an addiction

Great stuff! I am headed out tonight so I will be soak'n a line tomorrow morning. We are going to try Hog Island and/or toward Brown and Root. I'll let you know what happens. Hopefully a picture or two also!
