well yesterday me and kevin decided to hook up and fish somewhere. we decided on whiterock lake, so we met thereand we got set up and after a while of waiting and waiting we start to get hungry so i look up dominoz pizza on the blackberry and call them to get a pizza delieverd......well..... they would not do it because we didnt have a address. so after some thinking kevin said he would go to jack in the box to get some food. well while he was gona i was in the truck and while waiting i noticed his green light was on his alarm. i killed the radio and i didnt hear nothen and then it went off like a beeper. i hoped down there just in time to pick the rod up just as the spool was out of line.......wow.......i called kevin and told him he got spooled but i managed to get it in time and i landed a 9 lb fat carp


after getting it back in the water i get a run just as kevin get back and he helps me net this small buffalo about 5 to 8 lbs


after that it slowed a bit and we began throwing boilies at each other and starting mini bon fires lol...

after a 2 or three hour wait kevin get a run on the tutti-fruiti corn rod and it said it feels like a heavy fish. it turned out to be a 14lb carp the biggest of the night



after that we didnt get a bite untill about 4am and it was a tiny carp so kevin makes this goofy face

ok now for the greatness of this trip. early this morning kevin get a bite and the swinger goes up and down for a while and he finally set the hook and it was a 12lb buff


after that we watched the sun come up without a bite or a run so i decide to rebait useing rnge cubes on a hair and some sweetcorn with all spice and vanilla. after i got baited up a local named larry came and set with us and we all chated about our gear and shoot the breeze,and then i get a little short run and i thought catfish right off the bat. i knew it was little what ever it was but i didnt know it would be a new pb fish for me. as i played it in i saw a gold color and i yelled
"ITS A KOI" "ITS A KOI"....after kevin netted it he said no its a huge gold fish. "A WHAT" i said lol and after looking for my self i yelled out hell yea thats awesome a gold fish.
it weighed at 1.5lbs



ok so now iv got a new pb fish awesome!!!! heres the great part

kevin says whatch my rods im going down to the peir to talk to the locals. so im sitting there watching the fish crash and the birds land near our lines, when i heard beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep i pick up kevins rod and it bent doubled and i mean doubled. i losend the drag and it went to singin and i yelled to kevin about 5 times to come and get his fish lol. finally he runs back and i hand him the screaming drag singing rod and he says "this is big" well now there is a crowd of people watching this battle of tug and war when all of a sudden my rod screams off and we know a delkem on a solid run lol i hope over there without my walker lol and nearly fall lol i pick up and im in to a fish then my other right rod screams off...a triple.... awesome!!!!!!.after neting kevs fish i netted mine while my other rod is still screaming and i tighten the drag and hand it to this guy and i let him reel in a nive common that i had just caught a few days ago, catch and relese at its finest. it turned out that kevins fish was 18.9 lbs mine was 10lbs and the guest fish was 16lbs
