Hey Mark, why the split shot above your jig, I would think you might miss a few upward biting crappie, was it a wind issue or were you trolling around. Those are some pretty specs good job.

I pretty much fish a split shot over anything I fish for Crappie, really just to be able to get out of hangs ups better/easier. I'm sure when they are hitting really, really good, some do hit the split shot also, but some of those get caught too.

All the Big Fish were in 12 feet to 16ish. Caught tons of little ones at all Depths, but the big fish were (12 to 16 feet), but who knows about tomorrow (but really it seems they are moving up a little right now as is the case normally this time of year as the water cools).

I think the big fish and the dinks switch spots every few days to keep us guessing. I know last saturday the only nice fish I could catch were in 30 - 35 ft. The little ones were in 15 ft. Go figure!!!
