I'm heading out about 5:45 this afternoon. Going to fish the North Side of Pelican Island. If anybody is out there stop by and say hey.

Let me know how it goes. I had to work all night last night, got in this morning at 8. So I'll be sleeping. And I think the next time I go out will be bass fishing. (I know, I know)

Ninja if you need bait just ask dont waste your day trying to catch it! ......lol.......

By the way you were jerking those bass out of the water last week you just need to stick with Catfishing!

Well......I had a couple of guys out with me tonight that I have'nt seen in a while so that was good...The weather was great, you could'nt ask for a better evening...The fishing was awesome! The catching was less than perfect. We got in with one large sandbass and three good keeper cats. Oh well, considering you can't do stuff like this all over the world, nights like tonight remind me of how great a place we all live in. Good cool air, friends, and a nice place to hang out you could'nt ask for much more. Like Ted Nugent says "you can't do this in France"! Saw 5 deer on the way home. Makes me hungry for Backstrap. Going back out about daylight to see the sunrise and give praise for what we are all blessed with. I can't complain...not one bit.

Mmmm....backstrap. Can't wait till Nov! And piggy meat too!

Don't worry, there will be plenty dying when the time comes. Great things about pigs is that I can give them to everyone I know and keep friends fed all winter! Plus, the pigs seem to always be there so it's like an endless supply.

I'm just the opposite. I go out for a pig and all is see is 10 and 12 point bucks and go out for a mossy horned buck and see pigs. I don't care really as long as I fill my freezer by the end of the season though.

If you guys need additional freezer space, I want to offer my services.
